We believe that Instead of taking the entire Torah portion each week, we are just studying the 1st Day aliyah (portion) each week. Next year, following Simchat Torah (the Last Great Day, the Eighth Day) 2020, we will begin the study of the 2nd day's aliyah, etc., etc.
This process allows us to study each portion more in depth. Our hope, is that we will absorb and understand more by studying these individual daily portions over the course of an entire week.
